My love for Christmas

Christmas is a festival of joy and celebration. It is celebrated across the world to commemorate Jesus Christs Birthday. From the time kid I always used to always look forward for Christmas. It is the gifts that used to exit me as a kid. I used to go to school dressed up as a Santa. The holiday for school is something I used love. It is an extended holiday till the New Year.

Life is very busy these. I spend lot of time at office. I have to go on business trips. I will be away from the country most of the time. However I make sure I am at home for Christmas. I celebrate it with my family. Christmas brings back my childhood memories.

On Christmas Eve everyone in our in our family get together. My Sisters family stays 300 miles away. My bother stay in another state. We all come together for Christmas. That really creates a festive atmosphere. It is a great feeling to see every at one. Thats the only time in the year it happens. I get to see my cousins, niece and nephews. We chat, we laugh, and we dance. I speak them about our childhood days, career, holiday and marriage.

I along with the other member of the family decorate the Christmas tree. We dress up as Santa and distribute sweets to the children in our neighborhood. I go around the streets wish everyone Merry Christmas.
Then it is the grand Christmas lunch; with turkey, goose, potato, vegetables and wine and lot of other varieties of food.

After lunch, I go out with me family for shopping, movie and long drive on the country side.

I like Christmas the most because of the family bonding it creates. It is a create opportunity for everyone to get together and have a great time. Also share and spread happiness and job with everybody you know.

Population and threats to the world

It’s high time that we took some adequate and appropriate steps for bringing our population under proper control. Or else if this is the pace at which we are trying to move ahead, then it will be quite disastrous for the entire human civilization. So it will certainly prove to be very much helpful for all of us to put a strong control on the current exploding population rate.   If the population is increasing in an alarming pace like this, there won’t be enough agricultural crops for providing sufficient food for the entire population. Apart from this pathetic situation, most of the natural reserves and forests will have to be cut down in large scales for making it suitable for humans to reside. The cutting down of trees will really affect our echo system in a very detrimental way. Global warming is already a serious threat which warns us of devastating consequences. The cutting down of trees will accelerate global warming in a great way and it can be really critical for our peaceful existence.

Population explosion can also be the reason for outbreaks of various diseases and epidemics. Millions of human beings will perish if something drastic like this happens. If required medicines and medical support are not provided during the time of an epidemic outbreak, then a large number of people will be dead.   Increase in population will in turn increase the manufacturing of more vehicles. If more and more vehicles are being introduced to the streets on a random basis, it will definitely not be good for our echo system. This will lead to more and more carbon emissions to the atmosphere which will again accelerate global warming to a great uncontrollable extent.   Increase in population will lead to a lot of financial and social insecurities too. Unemployment can be one of the major issues and outburst of chaos and civil wars can happen. If not watched over properly this can certainly be a serious problem and the lives of many people can be at big risk.   Financial inflation can also make governments stumble like pile of big stones and people will start looking to get their primary needs in the form of robbery and looting. All these facts can lead to very much disturbing scenarios.  So it is very essential that the population rate must be kept under proper control or otherwise there are chances of many dreadful situations.   Prevention is far better than cure. So it will be really useful to take necessary preventive measures for assuring that nothing goes wrong .Doing so we will be able to live a very much happy and better lives and our next generations will also be able to do the same.

What not to share on social networks

Social networks have become viral. There are so many of them, and each of us has registered to at least one of them. There is a lot of media discussion about privacy in social networks. They keep changing your policies, and sometimes you agree to them without even reading what’s in it. We tend to discard them as nuisances, but this is wrong.

We should be very careful on what we share and what we should not share on social networks. Some information should remain private because it might be used against you. Telephone, address, credit cards and other contacts and money related information should not be shared. There is a direct risk of being robbed and very little way of protecting yourself. These data have also repeatedly been used by people who steal your identity and operate illegally to take money from banks or commit other crimes under your name. It might be very difficult to prove it wasn’t you if your name is all over the place.

Apart from identity theft, you should avoid personal information like address or other details that might identify you to avoid stalking. If you put some information online, you cannot see who will find it and what they are going to do with it. This is not a risk online for children or teenagers that might fall prey of predators, but also for adults.

Sharing on social networks can also be counter-productive professionally. Putting personal pictures on these networks might be fun when sharing with friends, but not if your boss or future employer looks at them. Similarly, when you say you are sick, and tweet about the wonderful time you are having fishing and post a picture of the whole thing, you might find it difficult to explain. Remember what you put online will always stay there.
